Vase, tin-glazed earthenware, standing on a tapering foot, globular body, narrow collar neck; decorated on one side, in underglaze blue with chinoiserie style flowers and foliage and on the reverse with a single foliate motif; broad blue band to foot, surmounted by two thin blue lines, forming the base of the decoration of the main body, three concentric blue lines to upper body; the neck restored and over-painted in cream with primitive lines and symbols in a pale blue-green, possibly imitating the original decoration of this area.
