Teapot and cover
Teapot, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a shallow flattened off foot-rim, globular body with fluted sides, cylindrical lip-rim, curving fluted spout with a moulded shell to the top of the spout, loop handle with upper and lower terminals curling outwards, fluted domed cover with waved rim, a flower head finial to the top of the cover with a moulded stalk and leaves spreading out from it across the top of the cover, a pierced steam hole to one side of the cover; painted in reds, yellows, purpoles and greens with to either side of the body a spreading spray of flowers, a wreath of feathery foliage in purple around the base of the spout, the moulded shell to the top of the spout edged in green, sprigs of flowers to the cover, the flower head finial painted in purple and yellow, the moulded stalk and leaves painted in green, a brown band to the rim of the cover.
