Teapot, cover and stand
Teapot, cover, and stand, soft-paste porcelain; rectangular straight sided foot rim with rounded corners, rounded sides to shoulder, concave curve to waved lip; loop handle with foliate moulded thumb spur, double ridge on lower part , and pointed terminal; curved spout; flat topped conical cover, with pointed octagonal, rosette moulded finial; stand standing on a tapered foot rim, with curved spreading sides; painted with an Empire style pattern, in red, green, blue, and pink enamels, of continuous vitruvian scrolled foliage interspersed with blue and pink convolvuli; gilt anthemion-leaf border to collar, gilt leaf on handle, spout with elaborate gilt strapwork design; gilt bands to foot, shoulder, and lip.
