Roman pottery lamp
Fragmentary volute-lamp. Slightly raised, flat base. Discus: ship moving to right, with sail set and oars out. One large steering oar is shown over the side near the high stern. The ship has a ram, and an eye is indicated on the bow. On the suriviving part of the base are three mould marks: single strokes in relief near the edge of the base, more or less cardinally place.
