Jardiniere
Jardiniere, buff earthenware, urn shaped on a spreading foot, lobed body, with a pair of rectangular handles, moulded with grooves and rough foliate terminals; freely painted in-glaze in a slatey blue, with a band of simple wave and dots beneath conventional floral motifs in a chain of husks around the foot and inside the rim, an arrangement of fruit, flowers and foliage to either side of body, an arrangement of gourd?, flowers and foliage in the well, blue line rims, handle moulding picked out in blue, pinkish tin-glaze.
