Sugar bowl with cover
Sugar bowl and cover, hard-paste porcelain, inverted bell-shape with curved sides and a narrow base that has a spreading foot, each side is moulded with a handle in the shape of a lion's head, domed cover with a conical finial that has a curved base; the rims of the bowl and the cover and the edges of the foot and the base are banded with a gilt line border, the top half of the finial is gilded, painted with birds perching on gold branches.
