Plate, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into flared spreading sides; transfer-printed in black enamel in the centre with the 'Mansion' print - a view of a mansion house with swans and a boat in the foreground; a rich underglaze border painted with gilt medallions and scallop-edging, with a gilt arcaded border below with leafy branch pendants.
