Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Pouch shaped jug, of creamy blue tinged earthenware, standing on an octagonal foot rim, the body, bulbous at the base and ribbed to form broad, slightly convex panels, tapering at the neck, then flaring and ending in a lobed lip rim; high looped ogee handle; transfer printed with a speckled continuous sheet print in purple, blue tinged along the ribbing, the transfer printing extending to the interior of the neck and to the upper section of the handle.
