Biscuit hard-paste porcelain bust of Napoleon I after a plaster model by A. D. Chaudet, base rectangular with the shoulders squared off after classical prototypes, head full face, looking directly ahead with hair falling on forehead; firing cracks to interior; rectangular white metal (? pewter) base by Thomire, painted and varnshed a speckled maroon colour in imitation of porphry, top with ormolu frame and brass boss, modern softwood and plywood block within.
