Roman samian bowl
7 conjoining samian sherds from a Dr37 bowl. The fabric is pink ware with slight cream flecks and a light red gloss. It is poorly modelled and has a barren design. The ovolo shows traces of rosette tips to the tongues. The hare in the small festoon is not in Oswald. The vegetable motifs, perhaps intended to be three poplar trees and one more sessile type, are on one stamp. The basal leaf is not matched. Probably late Flavian or Trajanic.
Dr 37 is a hemispherical decorated bowl
