Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, tea bowl standing on a tall foot rim, flared sides, everted lip; decorated in Kakiemon style in polychrome enamels and gilt, around the sides with brushwood fences, bamboo, Prunus and a pine tree (the "Three friends"), bottom with flowers on stem, chocolate brown border line to lip. Saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading body, everted lip; decorated in Kakiemon manner, in polychrome enamels with brushwood fences, bamboo, Prunus and pine tree, brown border line to lip.
