Tea-caddy
Tea caddy, buff coloured stoneware, oblong box shape with flat base and flat vertical sides, internally divided into two sections, the top flat with two cylindrical necks rising out of it around circular apertures; covered all over with a mid-brown slip which has then been incised to form a scratched decoration, with to the larger sides a chicken-like bird with sprays of flowes and an unusual seahorse-like creature, to the two smaller sides sprays of flowers, incised lines around the edge of each side, salt-glazed.
