Full Title - 'Statutory Rules and Orders 1935 No.637 Coal Mines. The Firedamp Detectors (No.2) Order, 1935. Dated June 24, 1935.' 4-page booklet on off-white paper, with black printed text and a black and white photograph of firedamp testing apparatus. Loose inside a black leather hardback cover (with other coal mining regulations, bills etc) with the 'British Thomson-Houston Company / Electrical Engineering Manufacturers / Rugby' printed on it, and a sticker with 'Coal Mines Regulations' stuck on the front cover.
