Candlestick, chamber
Chamberstick, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a flat unglazed foot, curving into straight spreading sides, flared lip moulded with acanthus leaves; ring handle with lower outer spur; sconce set on a narrow pedestal base, with moulded and indented rings, krater shaped with low shoulder ridge, and flared lip moulded with fleurs-de-lys; the saucer painted with flowers including daffodils, pink roses, and a purple and yellow tulip; gilt detailing on mouldings, plain gilt bands to inside sconce and saucer lip, sconce base and shoulder, and gilt handle.
