Iron Age copper alloy bow brooch
Fragment of a one piece bow brooch corresponding to Hull and Hawkes (1987) Type 6 dating to the 1st century BC. Two spring coils survive and iron corrosion inside may suggest a cylindrical rivet or a later repair. Most of the catch plate has broken away.
