Sucrier with cover
Sucrier, white smear-glazed stoneware, shaped oval form with straight sides and a raised gallery moulded with circles containing applied flower heads, to either end of the body twin leaf handles, the body divided into rectangular panels decorated with applied acanthus leaves, floral sprays and classical figures against plain and granulated grounds, oval domed cover decorated with around the sides applied conventional leaves and shell moulding against a granulated ground, to the top of the cover a finial modelled in a conventional shell form; blue enamel lines around the body of the sucrier and the cover. The cover broken and repaired.
