Baker, Bevans and Irwin, Glamorgan Pottery (1813-1839)
Miniature plate, earthenware, circular shape with inset base, curving sides and spreading rim, the rim moulded with embossed floral sprigs enclosed by foliate swags interspersed with ribbon-tied floral garlands; transfer-printed in blue and overpainted in red, yellow and green with to the centre of the well a scene showing two figures picking fruit with trees and shrubs to either side of them and a bird perched on a branch over head, the moulded floral sprigs to the rim overpainted in red, yellow, green and brown, a brown edge to the rim.
