Meat dish, oval, soft-paste porcelain, 'duck egg' type with greenish translucency, slight green tinge to glaze; moulded and jiggered, oval foot rim with areas of dark staining, everted rim; centre painted in polychrome enamels with a lattice-woven basket, overflowing with garden flowers, prominent among them pink and white roses, peonies, pansies and lilac, on a background of earth, grass and flowering plants; cavetto with a border of scrolled and seeded gilding; rim painted with six sprays of pink roses within a gilt dentil border.
