Roman samian bowl, decorated
The trident-tongued ovolo is a common one, but has not so far been recorded on stamped or signed bowls (see Knorr 1910, taf. II, 2, from Rottenburg). One panel contains a dog to right (01922 variant). The bowl has sharp zig-zag borders, with rosettes at the top.
