Haynes, Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1802 - 1810)

Pearlware jug, globular form, high lip, s-shaped strap handle; body painted with Imari style decoration of flowers, leaves and scrolls in underglaze blue, red and gilt. Border of flowers, leaves, scrolls and Japanese motives in underglaze blue, red and gilt around rim, which is repeated inside lip; medallions, small medallions and gilt strokes on outer side of handle.
