Pearl-glazed earthenware dish, foot-ring, cruciform moulded with four lobes, the centre painted in sepia with a 'VIEW of UNDERCLFF / ISLE of WHITE.' (named on reverse) of the sea with boats between boulders (left), and a cottage under the cliffs (right), all in an oval reserve with a gilt edge; continuous border pattern inside rim of beads within black ovals on a pink ground, within gilt lines rim enamelled brown.
