Teapot and cover, `duck egg' paste with pronounced greenish translucency, round form, swelling slightly to the shoulders, and moulded with ribs or concex flutes, up-curving spout, and large flat kidney-shaped handle with pronounced mould-line, shallow domed cover with a collared conical knop; decorated with gilt bands at the foot, shoulders, rim and spout base, handle and knop gilt, raised gilding to spout end.
