Milk jug, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; standing on a moulded pedestal foot, ovoid body, upright collar with wide spout; high loop handle moulded with palmettes, upper part fluted, with palmette terminal; painted in monochrome purple enamel, on the front, with a cupid playing a lyre, sitting on a lion, in a landscapte setting; gilt continuous scroll pattern below lip and inside spout, gilding to handle moulding; gilt bands to foot, shoulder, and lip.
