Beaker and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, beaker standing on a foot rim, tall sides, everted lip; brown ground with black markings, decorated in polychrome enamels, decorated on the sides with three raised, moulded, shaped reserves each containing a harbour scene, one with two figures, one rolling a barrel, ship behind, another of two figures with ships to left, tower to right, another with four figures and one child in a landscape with a statue behind, each surrounded by a white border with gilt patternwork and scaling, gilt concentric line to foot rim and lip, gilding to handle. Saucer standing on a foot rim, flared sides, brown ground with black markings, decorated with three raised, white reserves, the centre with three harbour scenes each with two figures with buildings and ships in the background, surrounded by a white border with gilt scrollwork and scaling, gilt concentric line to lip.
