Full title - Prices and Particulars of Dinorwic or Velinheli Slates.

Prices and particulars of slates supplied by W. a J. Hughes, slate merchants, Port Dinorwic, dated 1907. The prices given are for ‘Dinorwic’ or ‘Velinheli’ slates in various sizes (ranging from 24’’ x 14’’ to 12’’ x 8’’), and of various quality (‘first’, ‘second’, and ‘third’ quality slates). The price list is printed on cream paper. The donor’s family were timber merchants in Taunton, Somerset. They supplied timber and slate to local builders and merchants, and as a result acquired a collection of slate price lists.
