Early Bronze Age pottery collared urn
Of brown ware, with rim deeply bevelled internally, short collar and well-marked concave neck. The decoration consists of incised herring-bone pattern on internal bevel; a herring-bone pattern of short cord-impressions ('maggots') on the outer surface of the collar; incised alternating triangles and chevrons on the neck; and impressed cord herring-bones on the shoulder.
