Roman copper alloy end looped pestle
A sinple, almost roughly-made example. Slightly curved rod with turned-over suspension loop which has a free end. The lower stem has a lightly curved facet on its convex edge giving it a distict plump D-sectionr section. It is not possible to determine whether the facet was cast or is a product of usage.
