Pleistocene brown bear bone
A cranium of a brown bear. The right hand side of the maxilla is substantially complete. The front part of the jaw is present but only one incisor the upper right 3rd incisor is in place. Also present are the upper right canine, the upper right 4th premolar, the upper right 1st molar and the upper right 2nd molar teeth. The end of the tip of the canine is missing due to a recent break. The teeth all display a heavy amount of wear and the bone is stained brown with the teeth a yellowish-white.
