Upper Palaeolithic flint backed blade
A mid-section of an abruptly-backed point fragment with steep, scalar retouch running along one edge the retouched edge tapers gradually towards a point, now making the original form of the tool impossible to determine. The other, unmodified, length has a series of small chips along it which give it a slight serrated appearance.
