Jug
Jug, hard-paste porcelain, inverted egg-shaped body, cylindrical neck with concave sides, pouring spout, loop handle, circular spreading pedestal foot; the edge of the rim is gilded and this gilding continues down either side of the handle, the top of the body and the side of the foot are banded with a gilt border, the front of the neck below the spout is decorated with a gold scroll and sprig ornament, the front of the body is painted with two birds perching on a gold branch near a gold fence, painted with gilt sprigs.
