Jug, red-brown coarse earthenware, standing on aflared pastry-crust moulded base, elongated ovoid body, elongated cylindrical neck, flaring at lip rim with small pinched spout; broad strap handle; the whole unglazed, brown in colour with some lighter red patches, restoration to neck area, some splashings of clear and green glaze to base.
