Rockingham (Pottery, C18, aka Swinton Pottery)
Dish, porcelain, rectangular with a shaped and indented edge, footring; the edge is gilded and decorated with a border of gold and white triangles, the rim is decorated with a continuous border of blue and red cornflower sprigs with green and gold leaves against a cross-hatched ground in gold, the central reserve is painted with one rose sprig surrounded by a border of cornflower sprigs and tulip sprigs.
