Teapot and cover
Teapot, slightly greyish hard-paste porcelain, rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body, short cylindrical neck, curving spout, loop handle with foliate moulding at the shoulder, round stepped cover with a finial to the centre; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the exterior body of the teapot and the top of the cover scattered sprays and sprigs of naturalistic flowers including roses, tulips and pansies, a wreath of purple foliage around the base of the spout, the rest of the spout, handle and finial picked out in purple.
