Child's cape
Child's cape (7-8 years old), about 1970. Home-made by Heather Coles, Cardiff, using Welsh 'tapestry' cloth.
Face fabric of machine woven double cloth, with small 'tapestry' pattern in red, blue, green, brown and black wool. Fully lined with red acetate lining. Neck trimmed with red wollen braid. Full legnth front zip fastening with hook and eye at neck. Two slits in front seam for hands. All machine sewn.
