Obverse. King Edward VII enthroned wearing Garter robes, his feet resting upon a cushion, his left hand holds an orb ensigned by a cross fitchy, his right hand bears a sceptre. In the field are, dext. Britannia holding a sailing vessel, and sin. Justice with sword and balance. On the back of the throne stand, dext. St Michael with his sword, sin. St George with banner and shield bearing his cross.
