The Power Problem in the Coal Industry
A letter and a paper/lecture by B.L. Metcalf. A cover letter addressed to E.Ivor David from B.L Metcalf referring to the enclosed corrected copy of his paper given at the Institute of Mining Engineers meeting. A black typed letter on National Coal Board headed paper. There is also a copy of the paper given at that meeting (The Institution of Mining Engineers General Meeting, Thursday 20th October, 1949) 'The Power Problem in the Coal Industry'. Cream paper, with printed black text, a number of diagrams and tables and a black and white photograph. Corrections made in blue ink throughout the paper.
