Mug, pale cream-coloured earthenware with a soft greenish tinge to the glaze, moulded foot-rim, cylindrical body with engine-turned banding around the exterior lip-rim, loop handle with foliate moulding to the terminals; the exterior body decorated with around the centre short horizontal engine-turned incisions in-filled with dark brown slip, bands of red-brown slip around the upper and lower exterior body, the engine-turned banding overpainted with a wash of green enamel.
