Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dessert dish, round, good clear translucency and lustrous glaze with pin holes, pitting and minor flaws; standing on a tall foot rim, and moulded with five large and five small lobes, standard 'Nantgarw' moulding of C-scrolls, ribbon-tied foliage wreaths and florets; the centre painted in polychrome with a large bouquet of garden flowers, including pink roses, a sunflower and convolvulus, the relief mouldings on the rim entirely gilt, and containing five small sprays of garden flowers.
