Jug, pale buff earthenware, finely crazed pale blue pearlware glaze, lower part of the body moulded with flutes and a band of basket-weave, swelling to the shoulders, vertical neck with V-spout and band of basket-weave, C-scroll handle; painted in on-glaze enamels in yellow, red, brown, black and grey with a central corn sheaf, crossed scyths, rake and pitchfork behind, flanked to left with a bill-hook, axe and harrow and to right with a shovel and plough.
