Mug
Mug, pale grey stoneware, standing on a narrow, grooved foot rim; globular body; cylindrical, neatly rilled neck; the handle restored with v-shaped raised ridge at lower terminal; the interior neck with an iron-brown wash and clear glaze, spreading to the exterior neck near the upper terminal of the handle and to one side of the body in a much paler, thinner form, almost yellow in hue, the remaining body covered in a thin, clear salt-glaze, the base unglazed.
