Iron Age copper alloy terret
Cast copper alloy terret falling into Spratlings Group I category. The loop is of oval cross section, thicker towards the oval stops and has a thin raised ridge running around it flanked by narrow facets. This decoration is absent on one side at the top of the terret, perhaps as a result of wear or more likely through corrosion. The attachment bar is of thin rectagular section and has quite a worn surface.
