Cup and saucer
Cup and saucer, porcelain, bowl-shaped cup with an everted rim, high loop handle and a footring, the saucer has an indented base, low sides and a raised cup well in the centre; the interior of the cup and the saucer are painted with white and pink roseheads against a yellow ground, the edges are decorated with a gilt bead border, gilded handle, the exterior of the cup is decorated with a line border entwined with berries and leaves in gold, the central well of the saucer is decorated with a gold circle that is banded with a wide gold line border from which is painted a band of berry sprigs in gold.
