Seal impression: Medieval personal
The earl on horseback to the right, with conical helmet andhasal; sword held by his right hand, his long convex kite-shaped shield bears faint traces of the CLARE arms (three chevronels). This seal bears a close resemblence to the Second Seal of King Stephen.
