Inkpot, soft-paste porcelain, slightly kicked unglazed base, flattened globular and possibly solid body slightly inset at the top, narrow cylindrical well; decoration reserved in white against a gilded ground comprising a frieze of shells round the body and a band of simple foliage round the top, a gilded band round the foot.
