Jug, cream-coloured dry-bodied stoneware, inset base, globular body sloping inwards at the shoulder, cylindrical neck with pinched spout, square shouldered handle with foliate moulding to the lower terminal, a round the lower body a band of engine-turned reeding, a round the middle of the exterior body a sprigged decoration of three figures practising archery against a backdrop of parkland with trees and bushes, a sprigged band of pendant foliage around the upper body, the exterior neck and spout ornamented with horizontal ribbing; the exterior shoulder and neck and the upper portion of the handle covered with a brown glaze.
