Plate, earthenware, circular shape with flat base, curving sides and spreading rim; transfer-printed in black with to the centre of the well a harbour scene showing a sailing ship moored up at a quayside, below the scene is printed the inscription "INNERE HAVEN VON EMDEN", two pink lustre bands to the rim. The plate broken and repaired.
