Roman samian bowl, decorated
The ovolo is probably trident-tongued. The upper part of a panel has a hare to right and the lower part includes diagonal wavy lines. The adjacent panel has a bud-cluster in one upper corner, in the manner of L. Tr. Masc(u)lus and some of his contemporaries (cf. Knorr 1952, taf. 37A). Another sherd (in 001) has a bird to left (Hermet 1934, pl. 28, 50).
