Untitled
The artist was born in Kent and studied at Northwich and London. He frequently works with household and industrial paints, using repetition ('a kind of exhuberant methodicalism') in paintings which make much play upon the fluidity of paint. This abstract composition depends for effect upon the contrast between gloss and matt areas of the same black colour.
