Roman bone handle
Small fragment of a bone handle, decoarated with a band of trellis work with fint traces of a narrow vertical band of trellis work and a single ring and dot. Although curved in cross-section this is probably a small fragment from a two-piece, composite, handle. Green staining towards the lower portion of the piece probably derived from a securing rivet, now lost.
