Quilt
Wholecloth quilt made in the late 1800s by Mrs Mary Thomas of Penclippin Farm, Henllan Amgoed, near Carmarthen.
Cotton floral print (red, yellow, green and blue) on one side, and plain light brown on reverse. Quilting pattern consists of a complex central circular motif with scalloped edge, containing multi-petalled flower head. Four pine cones, four tulip motifs and edged with small spirals and veined leaves. The whole quilt is edged by double chain.
